The Lady Lake Parks and Recreation Department manages the neighborhood parks and two major sports complexes in the town. At the heart of town is the landmark Heritage Park, with its charming gazebo and carpet of colorful flowers shaded by a 200-year old oak tree. This is where the community gathers for special celebrations or just to relax.

Children enjoy participating in both spring and fall baseball and soccer programs. All skill levels are welcome to participate. Rolling Acres Sports Complex is a great place for exercise, fun and recreation. The complex is located on Rolling Acres Road and is home to three soccer fields, a 250 foot softball field, the Lady Lake Dog Park and the Lady Lake Driving Range. Rolling Acres Sports Complex is also where the Lady Lake Soccer Club meets. The Guava Street Athletic Complex offers four baseball fields, four handball courts, two tennis courts, a basketball court and a children’s playground known as Pyramid Park. The Lady Lake Little League meets at this location.

GOLF
There are multiple golf courses within a five-mile radius of town. Harbor
Hills Country Club Community and Stonecrest Golf Club offer a challenge for the avid player. Spruce Creek, The Lakes and Water Oak Estates also provide enjoyable courses on their verdant hills. Nine championship public courses reside inside The Villages. Residents and visitors will find driving ranges and a mini golf course available in the area. LAKES
Lake Griffin State Park just three miles south of Lady Lake has dock side fishing, canoe rentals, boat ramp, picnic facilities, playground and camping facilities. There are several private and public lakes in Lady Lake that offer scenic views for home sites.
Lake County has over 500 lakes, offering freshwater fishing throughout the year. All levels of anglers can fish for fun or participate in the many tournaments held in Lake County. The lakes offer a variety of freshwater
fish including bass, blue bream, shellcrackers, stripers, speckled perch and catfish. For more information, go to www.LakecountyFL.gov

The Town of Lady Lake celebrates Arbor Day in April and Florida Arbor
Day in January. Lady Lake is registered with Tree City USA Arbor Day
Foundation.
Art in the Park is held at the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce and is held during
the months of February and October each year.
Uncle Donald’s Farm, located on Griffin Road, is an interesting place to visit. It has many species of wild animals. There is a charge for this part of the farm. There are many school trips here during the day, along with individuals who bring their children to associate with the animals. There is no charge for this.
At Christmastime, the Chamber of Commerce sponsors Light up Lady Lake. Over 2.2 million lights are used to decorate the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce
Log Cabin and Veterans Park. In addition, the first Saturday in December is the annual Lady Lake Christmas Parade.
Also at Christmastime, a visit to the Cottom Farm is a must. The light display grows each year and encompasses several acres in and around the main house and also reflects from the lake in front of the house.
